Adrift
Adrift is a piece that originated from a profound healing session I experienced in Denmark, though it didn’t fully come to life until I arrived in Oakhurst and captured the essence of it at Bass Lake. During the energy healing session, I felt as though I was floating in the Abyss, completely surrendering to the healing process and whatever might emerge from it. It was the most intense energy healing I’ve encountered, and it marked a pivotal moment in my journey, allowing me to delve deeper within myself and begin trusting more in my personal life. This piece embodies that sense of surrender and the transformative power of healing.
How Do I Take My Photographs?
I take my photographs by carefully setting up my camera on a tripod in front of the scene. Using a remote trigger with a timer, I position myself and move into the pose I’ve envisioned. It’s essential for me to be in control of the camera and the shot because this process is about reclaiming my own body and deciding how I am portrayed. Through this method, I ensure that I am represented exactly as I wish, on my own terms.
