Manifestation is a photograph taken in Denmark, set against the backdrop of my painting Genesis. In this image, I capture the extent of the eczema that had developed on the back of my neck—an outward sign of the emotional stress that had been festering within me for years. It wasn't until later that I recognized the connection between the issues on the front of my neck, with my thyroid, and the eczema on the back. Both were physical manifestations of the emotional turmoil I had been carrying, a reflection of the years I spent suppressing my truth and not speaking out. This photograph serves as a poignant reminder of how our inner state can manifest outwardly, often in ways we don't immediately understand.
